In Summer 2006 from August, 17th till 22nd a couple of club members of our local amateur radio club started a Dxpedition to Norway, on a lighthouse right to the North Sea.

there we activated Lighthouse Hellisoy Fyr. this Lighthouse had never been activated before and according to best connections (DJ5HD) to the lighthouse owner, we had the permission to work from that very nice place.

Working Conditions

1t Hamware:

amoung: several Yaesu FT-897D, ICOM-706 MK II, each operator with his own notebook

Force 12 Sigma XK & several long wire antenna, even a mono band for 160m-band (take a look at the pictures)

serveral lenghts of cable (abt 350m)  for matching the different antenna.

200m ropes and other accessoires ...
