Houtskaer Island was activated in summer of 2006 / 2007. This IOTA was chased by many stations even from Europe.
Its ranking is among the TOP 5 most wanted in Europe. This was my 3rd trip on an island outside, on a single operater tour.
The island I was working from called Houtskaer had several little islands around. "My" little island had the name Mossala. It is
located up in the North West in the Archipelago (take a look at the map).

Sometimes I switched between the 20m antenna choices and found out, that the Force 12 was always the best antenna to work!
Counting both activities I made about 2.000 QSOs from that part.
