  Germany has 16 different federal states. I live in Lower Saxony, which ist easily to find on the map in the NW of Germany. Lueneburg ist not marked on the map, but its between the cities Hamburg and Hannover.

Our district is E (stands for district of Hamburg area)

and the number ist 05 (E05). It is our local amateur radio club (memership of the DARC e.V.).
